Andy Huthoefer joined Satisloh in 2007 and is the Vice President of Product Management and Marketing. He’s an Engineer of Ophthalmic Optics from the University of Applied Science in Aalen, Germany. Before joining Satisloh, he started out as an optician in the family business followed by a range of roles including Product and Marketing Manager at Carl Zeiss, and Integration Manager during the Zeiss-Sola merger. 

Science fascinates Andy and he loves that his job encompasses a mix of technology, healthcare and fashion. He particularly enjoys the fact that he gets to see the technological developments up close. This way he can tell the story and provide the tools so that the end customer can artfully get their lenses. 

Andy’s passion for technology doesn’t just stop with his work at Satisloh. If he could go back in time, he would visit 1969 to experience the moon landing live, as it happened. And when he isn’t thinking about technology, he spends his time preparing for triathlons where cycling is his favorite discipline.
